Subject:             Temporary Alcohol Licenses for Events Ordinance Amendment

The Community Development and Regulatory Services Committee of the Minneapolis City Council will consider amending various provisions of Title 14 of the Minneapolis Code of Ordinances relating to temporary licenses for events.  If approved, temporary alcohol license opportunities will be expanded and streamlined.  Liquor caterers may provide limited catering services to the public and brewer taprooms may contract with a liquor caterer for private events.  Temporary alcohol licenses would not be required to go to City Council for approval.
