DESCRIPTION:Photo: July 30th 2024 at North Loop Green for a celebration of Avivo Village\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nzAmya has a VERY special treat for you on Friday\, November 22nd. Come to the Corner Coffee Shop in North Loop to catch a sneak peak of Dis Place\, zAmya’s newest production directed by Harry Waters Jr. \nThis show is part of a multi-year partnership with North Loop Neighborhood Association and Avivo Village that will result in a new play making its world premiere in March 2025. Enjoy a sneak peek while learning how to get involved\, and discuss housing in the North Loop. \nRegistration is encouraged but not required. There are only 45 spots available\, though! \nWe’ll have $10 Target gift cards for people who have experienced homelessness. Feel free to invite friends! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRegister for Dis Place\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe space is wheelchair accessible. If you have access needs\, including but not limited to getting help registering\, please contact our Company Manager\, Esther\, at: (612)760-4804 / esther@zamyatheater.org and we’ll do our best! \nCorner Coffee Shop is located at 514 N 3rd St Ste 102\, Minneapolis\, MN 55401. There is a tiny parking lot\, and limited metered parking on the street. Plan ahead! \nThe box office opens at 6:30pm\, house opens at 6:45pm\, and the “show” starts at 7pm. This is a 90ish minute event that includes a 20 minute performance followed by 60 minutes of discussion. No intermission. \nLight refreshments will be provided. \nAll ages are welcome. Parental discretion advised\, however\, due to mature themes like domestic abuse or substance use. \nMore about the project can be found online here.
