What will you decide? \nOriginally created in 2018 through a residency with Minneapolis Central Library\, Second Chance was made and performed by actors who have experience with homelessness. This summer’s production is directed once more by Maren Ward\, and includes music by Mick laBriola and Carlisle Evans Peck. DESCRIPTION:Playfulness\, experimentation and judgement are the principles behind my art.  I begin all work whimsically not knowing exactly how it will look in the end.  I experiment to make the visual relationships taut and constantly judge if formal artistic elements are resolving themselves into lasting relationships.  It is difficult to make abstract art\, because\, as I see it\, there are no–nor should there be–rules for how to create.  I love to see something I have completed.  But\, it is the process in reconciling the relationships between line\, mass\, color\, value and subject that most intrigue me. \n My imagery is drawn from remembered experiences.  I complete work in my studio relying on memories of places and events. \n\nJon’s work has been placed in the following museums: Albrecht-Kemper Museum of Art\, St. Joseph\, MO • DuPage Children’s Museum\, Wheaton\, IL • Ellen Noel Museum of the Permian Basin\, Odessa\, TX • El Paso Museum of Art\, El Paso\, TX. Inbound is proud to host the 10th annual Nershfest at our taproom. We can’t wait to see you at this summer skyline soiree. \nWhat does admission come with? \n\nAn immediate impact on a local nonprofit\nAppetizers and a signature cocktail\nOpportunity to connect with mission-driven peers at a North Loop hotspot\n\nWe’d love to meet your furry friend\, but please note that only working assistance dogs are allowed on the Hewing Hotel Rooftop. \n\n\n\n\nCan Do Canines provides assistance dogs to people with disabilities\, free of charge. Our specially-trained dogs are provided to clients with mobility challenges\, hearing loss or deafness\, seizure disorders\, diabetes complicated by hypoglycemia unawareness or children with autism. Can Do Canines is the largest provider of assistance dogs in Minnesota and relies on individual contributions to support its important work.
