His apocalyptic\, erotic fairy tales and psychedelic anatomical studies have been exhibited around the United States and Internationally\, and has maintained a growing list of commission clients around the world.\nalexkunoartworks.com \nAndrew Hefner\nAndrew is an artist and Tattooer based in Minneapolis. He works with a variety of mediums including acrylic paint\, watercolor\, ink\, pencil and sound. He is greatly inspired and influenced by music\, meditation\, psychedelics and spirituality. He considers his process and context of art-making informal\, continual and often collaborative. He has no traditional or classical education in the arts\, he chooses to learn from experimentation and his peers.\nThis show\, Death Realms\, is a study on the psychology of death and our sense of mortality. Instead of seeking security from our own experience\, embracing death as a part of life and the idea that there is more to our reality than the observable Universe.\n@andrewhefner (Instagram) \nJessie McNally\nJessie is an Australian born Minnesota raised artist who recently relocated to the mountains of Western North Carolina. She spent 11 months living and traveling with her dog in their van. The solitude and vast landscapes not only inspired her visually but also allowed her the space to process life ups and downs. These recent works come from that emotional place. They are stories of personal growth and struggle over the last 5 years. They are not about their content or their end result. Rather\, they are about using the PROCESS of painting as a healing tool. Conveying anger and pain with curving lines\, joy and love with color\, peace and hope with pattern. Each small section contributes to the higher good of the painting. Sometimes we just need to step back and unfocus to see the big picture. The most significant thing Jessie learned on her travels was how insignificant she was in this massive world.
