Weekly Farmers Market Newsletter – July 31 🍓🍠🌽🍆🍅

Starting this Weekend:
Veggie Spotlight!

One of my favorite things about the Minneapolis Farmers Market is the incredible variety of produce available. If I go to the supermarket looking for a tomato or a pepper, there are only a handful of options. At the market, however, it feels like there are different sizes, shapes, and colors of every vegetable!
To celebrate this diversity, this weekend we’re kicking off a series called Veggie Spotlight! Each week, we’ll highlight a veggie (and its many varieties!) in a weekly Veggie Spotlight flyer that will include veggie facts, recipes, and more!
Flyers will be available starting at 8 am Sunday and the first 10 people to come down to the market for a flyer on SUNDAY will receive a free Minneapolis Farmers Market tote bag with the Veggie Spotlight flyer + a tray of this weekend’s Veggie Spotlight pick!

Volunteers Wanted!

Attention Friends of the Market! We are in need of volunteers to help us keep eyes on the market to ensure everyone can shop while practicing social distancing. All of our sheds are one-ways and it is so important that our customers don’t by accident enter the wrong direction. If you are available to help us this weekend please fill out the volunteer form HERE.

Shifts available on Saturday or Sunday are
6 am -1 pm,
6 am – 10 am or 10 am – 1 pm!

Otherwise, if you are not available to volunteer, please help us by keeping 6 feet apart, follow the one-way directional arrows and eat in our designated eating located near the women’s restrooms where you can take a seat and enjoy your food for 30 mins or less!

Thank you for your cooperation!
