North Loop Resident Creates A New Mobile Bar Service
If there’s one thing the North Loop is widely known for, it’s hospitality. And one North Loop resident, Paige O’Leary, now has a mobile bar to take those good times on the road.
“I love entertaining my friends, I love making drinks for people, kind of the art of it,” she said. “So I was like how can I bring that to people and put a fun twist on it instead of just working in a bar?”
The result is Bootleg Blondie, a new bar service that just launched last month. The client orders the liquor from a retailer and then Paige takes care of picking it up and serving it at their event. (She also does mocktails).
“I think it brings a fun and creative elegance to it,” she said. “A lot of people just want to enjoy their party and not sit there and serve their guests. So think it’s fun to have someone so you can just enjoy your time.”
Paige’s job for the past six years has been rehab specialist for a chiropractor. But as she’s been considering this new opportunity, she also toyed around with different names, ultimately landing on Bootleg Blondie.
“I love the Bootlegger drinks, actually the drink of Minnesota,” she said, “and then also I’m a fake blonde, so I kind of play off of that a little bit.”
