Circa Lighting was founded in Savannah, Georgia in 1998 by Gale Singer.
Prior to moving to Savannah, Gale worked for Visual Comfort & Co., the leading manufacturer of decorative lighting founded by her brother, Andy Singer. Recognizing how overwhelming the lighting selection process could be, Gale had a vision to streamline the process.
In Savannah, Gale conceived her idea for a well edited lighting showroom where clients could shop in a boutique like atmosphere. She found 375 square feet in Savannah’s historic district (talk about well edited), and the first showroom was born. Additionally, she wanted the outreach to interior designers, architects and builders to have a similar experience locally and online with well curated offerings.
In addition to our robust website, Circa Lighting now has 15 showrooms across the country and plans to open 7 more in 2020. We continue to be the premier distributor of Visual Comfort products, as well as a small collection of other hand-picked manufacturers. As we expand our reach we remain committed to beautiful design and, above all, a brilliant customer experience.
