North Loop Homeless Encampment Community Discussion

Minneapolis City Council Members Steve Fletcher (Ward 3) and Jeremiah Ellison (Ward 5) will be facilitating an in-person community discussion about the homeless encampment in the North Loop neighborhood at 824 N 5th Street. This will be an opportunity for residents of the encampment and residential and business neighbors to connect. We will also hear from city and county staff about the background and context of homelessness in the city, the coordinated service provision efforts at the North Loop encampment, and lessons from models employed at other encampments.

All attendees will be required to wear a mask while indoors and stay 6 feet apart. Please stay home if you have symptoms of COVID-19, or have had close contact with a person who has tested positive for or who has symptoms of COVID-19. Please RSVP so that we may plan accordingly.
