The LAB Theater is a 6,000 square-foot warehouse, originally built by The Guthrie Theater as a “laboratory” space for experimental and unique works. 20-some odd years later, the theater has become home to a number of independent productions – ranging from live theatre, concerts, The Minnesota Fringe festival, cabaret and elaborate full-scale theatrical productions by Cardinal Theatricals, Theatre Latté Da and The Moving Company. Located in the stylish Warehouse District/North Loop neighborhood of downtown, it is a perfect venue for audiences seeking bold new theatre and dynamic sightlines, seating and comfort.
