Stay in the Loop

New Cannabis Shop Will Sell Its Own Line Of Gummies, Seltzers

With the soft opening of their very first shop set for Friday, October 18th at 707 North 3rd Street, the owners of Lagom Naturals will be selling THC-infused seltzers and gummies that their own company produces.

And they intend to become a dispensary when Minnesota eventually starts issuing licenses to sell recreational marijuana.

Lagom (pronounced Luh-GOHM’) Naturals is named after the Swedish term for “just the right amount” and is a brand new company formed by three Minnesotans and an experienced grower from southwest Michigan.

“We kind of started forming the team back in March of last year,” said Tito Lafta, one of the managing partners. “We needed our own grower, our own cultivator. But not just any cultivator. We needed a master cultivator.”

Lafta, along with partners Timmy Johnson and Bill Haupt, believe they found just the right man in Jason Bach.

“He’s won multiple first place trophies for his Indica strain,” Lafta said, “as well as Super Boof. We have multiple different strains. And those are all infused in our gummies.”

Lafta said the North Loop seemed to be a great neighborhood to start their business.

“I just want to be in the hub,” he said. “I just love the vibe and the culture here.”
