Russell + Hazel is Open in the North Loop
The new flagship re-imagines the idea of a “lifestyle” store.
Russell + hazel is delving deeper into leather goods with several new modern handbags (not yet available online) that blend fashion and function—at about $200. As promised, hairstylist Pearson Knight—who moved back from Los Angeles, to the delight of his loyal clientele from his Juut days—has his one-chair “style studio” within the store. His cuts are by appointment, for $150. He’s also debuting his own line of styling products.
While a grand departure from its most recent tiny space at Galleria, russell + hazel has found new ways to incorporate core elements, like the paper bar—this time, made from a mix of concrete and weathered wood, but still the place for binders and folders, the foundation of an organized life, even today.
With its focus on office and gift, russell + hazel is a great compliment to its neighbors: fashion cooperative D.Nolo and Pacifier baby boutique. Park for free in the Monte Carlo lot. 219 N. Second St., Mpls.
