Talk of the Stacks with Carmen Maria Machado

Join us for a special evening with Carmen Maria Machado, National Book Award finalist for the breakthrough story collection Her Body and Other Parties. Machado returns with the haunting new memoir In the Dream House, published by Minneapolis-based Graywolf Press.

This program is FREE and open to the public!
Doors open at 6:15 p.m. for general admission seating.
Program begins at 7 p.m.

Auditorium seating is limited. Overflow seating with live feed will be available.

A book signing will follow the event.

Carmen Maria Machado is the author of the new memoir In the Dream House, published by Graywolf Press of Minneapolis. Her debut short story collection, Her Body and Other Parties, was a finalist for the National Book Award and the winner of the National Book Critics Circle’s John Leonard Prize and the Lambda Literary Award for Lesbian Fiction, among others. Her essays, fiction, and criticism have appeared in The New Yorker, The New York Times, Granta, and Harper’s Bazaar. She holds an MFA from the Iowa Writers’ Workshop and lives in Philadelphia with her wife.
