WATCH: New bar offers drink with a sugar bubble you pop
While its main attraction may be its line of gourmet burgers, the new Trax Burgers And Bar (opening February 3rd) will also have some crowd-pleasing, Instagrammable drinks at the bar.
For example, its boozy milkshakes will be just as the name implies: shakes with a shot of Maker’s Mark bourbon and Vanille de Madagascar.
And there’s The Metro, Trax’s version of the Cosmpolitan. It will come with a sugar bubble on top that you get to pop… releasing an aromatic vapor that will waft over the table.
The bartender uses a vape gun to form the bubble, made of water molecules that are flavored. The vape on top of The Metro is a berry flavor. The Trax team hopes to eventually add other bubbles to other drinks, for example, they might try a smoky flavored bubble on top of Twin Bulleits, its version of the Old Fashioned.
Trax Burgers and Bar is located in the same building as the new Fillmore concert venue on 5th Street North, near the base of the Target Field light rail station.
