Art at 801 Gallery: Eric Mueller, Dan Dennehy and Pocket Toscani

The 801 Washington Lofts Art at 801 Gallery is pleased to present an Art Opening for local artists Eric Mueller, Dan Denny and Pocket Toscani on Saturday, February 29th from 6-9 pm at 801 Washington Lofts located in the North Loop. Free and open to the public, the 801 Gallery provides complimentary wine and appetizers for all guests. The evening will feature electronic music by Boxes vs Bots with Owen Dennehy and May Louise Shea in our beautiful three story atrium art gallery.
The show will run through May 2020 when there will be an Artist Talk that is also free and open to the public. All art is for sale and the artists keep 100% of the profits. The Art at 801 Gallery has been hosting three Art Openings a year since the early 2000s, always curated by the “Cork Car Lady,” “Jan Elftmann.
About the Artists
Eric Mueller uses photography as a way of making sense of the world. His work seeks to capture and organize time into understandable moments so he can analyze and comprehend it. Dan Dennehy spends more and more time observing and questioning our complex and conflicting relationship to the natural world. Pocket Toscani tries to let their subconscious bubble up in the form of a color field. Then they respond in real time. They view their paintings as a series of call and response. Subconscious; conscious; subconscious…One of their main objectives is to surprise them self, which is difficult because they have insider information.
