Annual Tree Lighting Will Include Live Music, Free Goodies
One of the North Loop’s brightest holiday traditions, the lighting of the big tree at The Nordic Plaza, is back for its 3rd year.
Santa and his elves will help with the countdown on Tuesday, December 10th. The actual lighting is set for 6pm, but between 5-7pm, there will be free cider and hot chocolate from FRGMNT, donuts from Cardigan Donuts and music from local artist Charlie Bruber.

The event is family and pet friendly; admission is free but attendees are encouraged to bring a toy to donate to the Twin Cities Toy Drive.
The Nordic Plaza will also host a Holiday Market with Black Market Events on December 7th and 8th, 11am-4pm each day.
You can find The Nordic Plaza at 729 Washington Avenue North.
