Date Announced For 2024 North Loop Food Truck Fair
The North Loop’s mega-popular Food Truck Fair is coming back for 2024–this time in September.
“We are excited to announce that it’s September 29th, a Sunday,” said North Loop Neighborhood Association board member Scott Woller. “It will be from lunch to dinner right here in the North Loop neighborhood.”
The event, which is completely run by volunteers, started in 2018 with a handful of trucks and a few hundred attendees. It’s ballooned to the point that last year’s Food Truck Fair attracted about 15,000 visitors with more than 30 truck operators on hand to serve them. (Video recap here)
Woller said having the event in September this year could put an exclamation point on a fun summer of activities in Minneapolis.
“It’s really good to end well. Summer will have this fun memory,” he said.
In the coming weeks, we will release details about how to volunteer (we’ll need A LOT of help).
“The value of event is not just a bunch of people eating food outside,” Woller said. “The value of the event is a bunch of people having fun together at a family-friendly, neighborhood-focused event in the North Loop.
