Trees, Parks and Neighborhood Beautification Initiatives
Maintaining and improving the beauty and livability of the North Loop is part of what makes our neighborhood so special. Here are a few of our initiatives. Your financial support will help us continue our efforts.
- Monthly Service Saturdays dedicated to litter pickup, weeding boulevards, graffiti removal and ongoing neighborhood maintenance
- Ongoing maintenance of James Rice Park and the North Loop Playground, including removal of buckthorn and other invasive plants, dead and weed trees; and planting trees and native and perennial plants
- Continuous monitoring, maintenance and watering of our hundreds of trees
- Maintenance of the Welcome Park and North Loop monument at 3rd and Washington Avenues
- Maintenance of the neighborhood dog park
