Event Formerly Known As “North By North Loop” Returns In New Spot
Last fall, organizers came up with a catchy name for their new concert event, North By North Loop, which drew fans to 3rd Avenue North where bands were playing on two stages.
This year, the event is back for a second year, but it’s no longer called that. And it’s no longer on 3rd Avenue.
It’s “back in 2024 as the NBNL Festival thanks to a cease and desist from South By Southwest. We are flattered,” the organizers wrote on their Eventbrite page.
This year’s event is set for Sunday, September 8th, with The Suburbs as the headliner, on North 4th Street between 5th and 6th Avenues–outside of Graze. Tickets are $40.
Leading up to that event, they’re hosting free Thursday night performances at Graze, once a month, from Zak Khan, Aiden Intro and Ava Levy, who will each bring with them an emerging artist they’d like to spotlight.
“Come join us as we bring together music from emerging musicians alongside the musicians who have inspired them,” the Eventbrite announcement reads.
Food and drink at the NBNL Festival will be sold by the vendors at Graze. It’s a rain-or-shine event with no refunds offered.
Other sponsors of the event are MartinPatrick3, Digineer and Schell’s Brewing.
