4th Annual 2019 Earth Day 5K Bee Run/Walk/River Cleanup
April 20, 2019 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
REGISTRATION opens 7:30 am
KIDS RUN starts 8:30 am
FUN RUN/WALK starts at 9:00 am
RIVER CLEANUP starts at 9:30 am
Bee with us for a 5K fun run/walk held in the only national park offering scenic views of the Mississippi River! Following the 5K, take part in an organized river cleanup, learn about efforts to protect pollinators, and enjoy plenty of live music, entertainment, and Earth Day festivities.
Save our bees and their habitat by participating in a national movement!
Get “sweet” swag:
All paid participants receive a T-shirt, and other sweet swag
All paid participants will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win great prizes such as:
• 4 Tickets to a regular-season MN Vikings game (row 12, tier 1) – game date to be determined
• Flat screen TV

Costumes are welcome, with prizes for the best! Swarms encouraged!

Join a fun, family friendly event hosted by the Great River Coalition in partnership
with the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board and the National Park Service.
All paid participants will receive a long-sleeved tech shirt plus a bee headband.
Cost is $35, $40 on race day. Kids 6 & under free. Prizes for best costumes!
Pick up race packet at Mill City Running on Friday, April 19, 3:00-6:00 pm.
