Photographer Andy Tinkham’s artistic vision is to use light to convey emotions and to tell stories. In both his landscapes and cityscapes, he focuses heavily on images captured at night. Tinkham prints his work predominantly on metal which feel like windows, allowing some of that magical light to escape and letting the viewer bridge the divide between the man-made and the natural. The metal gives the images an extra depth and vibrancy almost as if the energy of the city or the peace of the North shore were on the other side of the wall.
