Girl Scouts: Hardcover Journal

Bring your troop and join fellow Cadettes in an evening dedicated to Book Arts! The class will start with a tour of MCBA where you will learn about the studios and equipment book artists use. Next we will jump right into creating your very own hardcover journal – you’ll learn about the structure of a book, as well as various book binding techniques. At the end of class, we will take a close look at several artists’ books. Participants also will receive a variety of book binding instructions to take home with them to continue exploring book art. This class is limited to 20 participants. Online registration is available for groups of up to four participants; if you would like to register for more than four at one time, please call The Shop at 612-215-2520 to process your registrations via phone.
