Lift Every Voice: The African-American Gospel Music Tradition

The Twin Cities Community Gospel Choir will offer soulful interpretation of the African-American gospel music tradition – moving audiences and creating community across racial, cultural and economic boundaries. Funded by Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
From Sept. 1-30, Hennepin County Library Special Collections will highlight local history of African-American churches in Minneapolis with historical materials on display.
