Earth Day Activities

9AM – Neighborhood litter cleanup starts at Corner Coffee to pick up bags and gloves. The first spring cleanup is the most important… and toughest as trash has accumulated throughout the winter months. Please join us!!!

10AM – Friends of James Rice Park meet to begin their efforts toward building an even more wonderful park. Here’s what we have planned:

• Playground area cleanup
• Litter pickup
• Clean gravel walking paths of leaves
• Clean parking lots of sand

Tools and gloves provided.

12:00 Noon Thank You event in the backyard of the Itasca building (across the street from the park at 7th Ave). Hot dogs and adult beverages.
