North Mississippi Regional Park October Programs (Signs of Fall Hike)

Signs of Fall Hike

Saturday October 15 | 2-3 pm

Hike through the prairie and along the mighty Mississippi to look for the signs of fall: changing leaves, the final wildflowers and more ever-changing elements of autumn. Meet at the Kroening Interpretive Center.

FREE Ages 5+ (kids under 12, must be accompanied by an adult)

Nature at Night

Friday October 28 | 6:30-8 pm

What really does go bump in the night? Come find out as we hike around the park to see what’s lurking after the sun goes down. Meet at the Kroening Interpretive Center.

$5 Ages 5+ (kids under 12 are free, must be accompanied by a registered adult)

MEA break is just around the corner. Sign kids up for a full day or two of fun!

School Release Day: Creepy Crawly Creatures

Thursday, October 20 & Friday, October 21 | 8 am-4 pm

If you like the creepy, the crawly and the slimy, then join us for some gross, spooky fun. Nature is full of freaky things that will make your skin crawl, if you dare to find them. Day camp will be based out of Kroening Interpretive Center.

Ages 6-12. $10 per day or $18 for both days
