Nutz Oar Boltz Blues at Underground Music Cafe

Nutz Oar Boltz is the real deal when it comes to blues. Led by front man Timmer Blue Horn, the group is a seasoned bevy of skilled blues musicians. Timmer is the main man – a renowned singer, songwriter, and harp player who has played in blues bands since the last ice age receded. Many of Timmer’s original songs draw from the heartaches of his own life, and his blues covers pay tribute to the great blues stars of yesteryear.
Timmer has pulled together Nutz Oar Boltz as his current project – talented musicians who have graced an endless parade of dusty stages: Greg Smokefish Lee (lead blues guitar), Craig Fingers Litsey (keyboards), Chris Flask D’Ascenzo (sax and guitar), Richard Rattlesnake Atkins (bass), and Joe Ride Rassier (drums).
This 3-1/2 hour performance includes renowned fiddle player Professor Andy Anda.
The venue recently has expanded their performances every night of the week — it’s grown into the best new music venue in the North Loop with great food, local brews, wine, and top-notch live music and entertainment. Forecast: 82 ̊ and sunny on Friday! Hope to see you there!
