Subject: Short-Term Rental Service Hosting Platforms – License Required
The Community Development and Regulatory Services Committee of the Minneapolis City Council will consider adding a new chapter to the Minneapolis Code of Ordinances. If approved, Chapter 351 will require Short-Term Rental Service Hosting Platforms to obtain a license.
Short-Term Rental Hosting Platforms are an online service which connects property owners with travelers looking for accommodations. Examples include Airbnb or VBRO.
