Celebrate America’s Independence Day at Minneapolis Red, White and Boom, a celebration hosted by the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board. The annual event attracts more than 75,000 people to sites along the downtown Minneapolis riverfront, and features live music, great food, fun activities for the whole family, and the grand finale – fireworks!Date & Time
Thursday, July 4, 2019
- 6:50 am: Red, White and Boom! TC 5K, Half Marathon and Relay
- 6 – 10 pm: Live Music, Vendors and Fireworks – Family Activities presented by Walmart
- 10 pm: Fireworks
Pro tip: great view of fireworks in the North Loop along the river between James Rice Park and the Hennepin Bridge. Fewer people, more room for your blankets and chairs.💥 🇺🇸
