Join Council Member Steve Fletcher next Wednesday, June 19 for a state legislative session debrief at our Ward 3 Happy Hour! We have moved the location to Honey MPLS.

He will be joined by Senator Kari Dziedzic, and has invited Senator Bobby Joe Champion and Representatives Ray Dehn, Diane Loeffler, and Mohamud Noor.

This was a difficult legislative session at the state capitol, with a lot of great policy and budget priorities blocked by the Senate. In the end, the budget deal signed by Governor Walz was considered by many to be a draw, but we still saw some important provisions pass into law.
