From Bugs Bunny to Lord of the Rings, Richard Wagner’s monumental operas have had a lasting influence on our culture. Minnesota Opera and The Theater of Public Policy join forces for a FREE companion event to Minnesota Opera’s upcoming production of Das Rheingold, the first opera in Wagner’s 4-part Ring Cycle. Through the power of comedy and unscripted theater, What’s up, Wagner? deconstructs the shroud of complexities surrounding this groundbreaking composer and his epic musical narrative.
