Casey Bloemke is our newest Farrell’s Franchise Family member and is excited to bring the Farrell’s program to the Minneapolis market.
Get to Know Casey!
Growing up, I was involved in a variety of sports ranging from softball, to basketball to bowling. As an adult, I remained active by participating in various sports leagues and going to the local gym to lift weights. Those facts most likely don’t surprise anyone who knows me, but what does surprise a lot of people is learning about what brought me to Minnesota.
After a 15-year career in restaurant ownership and operations in Chicago, I made a conscious decision that I wanted to shift the focus of my career and the overall direction of my life to have a greater emphasis on health and fitness. As part of my transformation, I knew I had to make some significant lifestyle changes, which included moving to Minnesota to pursue my calling in health and fitness.
I was introduced to the Farrell’s fitness program through friends who had been members. Admittedly, I was skeptical at first that this gym could be different from others I’d experienced. What made this gym so special? I was about to find out! One of those same friends enrolled me for the 10-week session in October 2015 at Farrell’s Shoreview.
I immediately realized what it was that set Farrell’s apart from other gyms and other programs: it meets members where they are and offers them the opportunity to improve their overall health in a supportive setting. It was exactly what I was looking for and has delivered exactly what I needed! It wasn’t long after I completed my 10-week session that I approached the owners to ask about being an instructor and eventually the head coach for one of their locations.
Now I get to give back what’s been so gratefully given to me. Farrell’s franchise owners Kerrie Robbins and Cindi Nikituk are inspirational, whose mentorship has been instrumental in developing my passion for leadership in the health and fitness field. I love being facilitator of the physical, mental and emotional transformations of our members! I’m passionate about building a healthy community, both physically and mentally, and plan to spread this drive and enthusiasm through the Farrell’s program to the North Loop neighborhood of Minneapolis.
We’re excited for our Grand Opening in North Loop in May 2018.
Between the encouragement of the tremendous instructors and sense of community provided by our members, Farrell’s is sure to inspire you to live your life at Level 10!
