Free Pizza For Restaurant Workers December 16th
As part of their first anniversary at North Loop Galley, Wrecktangle Pizza plans to give away hundreds of take-and-bake pizzas to restaurant workers who’ve endured a tough year because of the pandemic. They’ll be handing out as many as 400 nine-inch pizzas (cheese, pepperoni or veggie) on Wednesday, December 16th.
“Why not give back,” said chef/owner Jeff Rogers. “It’s a very small amount of our time to hopefully brighten someone’s day. We already do this daily, but not on this scale.”
The giveaway is made possible, in part, by Maker’s Mark Bourbon which reached out to Wrecktangle as a small business to partner up and do something nice for the hurting restaurant community.
In a social media post, Wrecktangle wrote, “If you are a restaurant worker who has been unable to work regularly and want some pizza to cook at home, please swing through Wrecktangle Wednesday 12/16 any time from 12pm-8pm!” No advance orders are necessary.
