Nordic Plaza Getting Set For Second Annual Tree Lighting

Get ready to count down with elves, live music and prize giveaways as the 2nd annual Nordic Tree Lighting ceremony is set for Wednesday, December 6th from 5:30-7:30pm.
The giant tree made its debut last winter and was a big hit among people looking for a big-city holiday season backdrop.
“It’s a place where people can gather in the North Loop and I think a lot of people know it,” said Nordic general manager Melissa Ruhland. “The atmosphere we have here is just inviting. And we want to keep that going.”
The event is free to the public and will include giveaways of hot chocolate from FRGMNT and doughnuts from Cardigan.
