Stay in the Loop

Now Open: Hope Breakfast Bar At North Loop Green

The first of two new restaurants coming to North Loop Green, Hope Breakfast Bar, is now open for breakfast and brunch–along with brunch cocktails.

“We call it elevated brunch or the Disneyland of breakfast,” said Chef/Owner Brian Ingram. “We’ve got things like carrot cake pancakes, cake batter pancakes, but we also have lots of savory dishes—chili bowl crunches, Hawaiian bowls, all those kind of fun things.”

You can check out the full menu here. This bright new space, with free parking in front of the restaurant, is open daily from 7am to 3pm.

It’s the seventh location for this popular restaurant group from Ingram’s community-minded company, Purpose Restaurants.

“Our motto is: believe in breakfast, believe in community and believe in coming together over a meal,” he said. “I’ve been wanting to be in the North Loop forever. I’m so excited about it.”

As long as the weather stays relatively warm, Hope will have seating outside the restaurant where dogs are welcome.

The coffee bar is equipped to take advance online orders, with easy pickup on shelves just inside the front door.

Ingram is also about to debut a brand new restaurant concept, Salt & Flour Kitchen, at North Loop Green on October 14th.

“I call it kind of my love story to my mom,” he said. “I had a single mom growing up most of my life and the only time I would see her is when I would cook for her. So it’s really just all these dishes that I would make as a kid for her. Pasta is kind of a love language when you’re hand-making pastas, so that’s really what that whole restaurant is all about is that love letter to my mom.”

North Loop Green is at 360 North 5th Street, across from Target Field.
