Stay in the Loop

Red Cow Serving Outdoor Martinis, Other Drinks At New Ice Bar

Even though the gifts under the tree may be unwrapped for the season, Red Cow has a special treat to keep the holiday merriment going through this Sunday, the 29th.

A new ice bar is set up on the front patio, serving martinis, champagne, Irish coffee and beer. And for Sunday’s Vikings game, they’ll add a purple drink, the Grape Ape (a shot of vodka with Sprite, grape soda and lemon juice).

“The North Loop is very special to us, especially since we have two restaurants here,” said company vice president Michael Giacomo. “It’s important for us to provide fun and unique experiences for the neighborhood and we hope that everyone is able to come out and embrace winter with a fun ice bar experience just blocks from your front door.”

There are overhead heaters on the patio, although we’re expecting a mild weekend with temperatures in the upper 30s and low 40s.

Here are the hours the ice bar is open: Thursday the 26th from 3-10pm, Friday the 27th from 3-11pm, Saturday the 28th from noon-11pm, and Sunday the 29th from 10am-10pm.

You’ll find Red Cow at 208 1st Avenue North.
