Voting Results: New NLNA Board Members And 2025 Priorities
Thank you to the more than 400 people who attended the North Loop Neighborhood Association’s Annual Meeting on January 29th! Attendees learned about our 2024 accomplishments, heard messages from City Council Member Michael Rainville and Mayor Jacob Frey, elected new board members and enjoyed an After Party at The Underground Music Venue.
All four incumbents in the race: Cristy Blake, David Crary, Louis Raymond and Jeff Vranicar were re-elected. And we welcome three new Board members: Mary Binkley, Kyle Ingebrigtson and Ali Odenthal.
2025 Priorities
Each year, we ask attendees to take out their phones and answer our survey to set priorities for 2025. More than 200 people responded; here are the results (they were allowed to vote for more than one issue):
Walkability 37%, Personal Safety 30%, Events 25%, Affordable Housing 24%, Greening 20%, Parks 18%, Diversity & Inclusion 18%, Parking 17%, Business Engagement 16%, Helping the Unhoused 14%.
2024 Year in Review
Last year, Annual Meeting attendees identified these top five issues for our 2024 priorities: Greening, Walkability, Safety, Parks and Events/Community Engagement. The video below highlights accomplishments in those areas and more:
Thank you to our generous sponsors and hard-working volunteers for pulling off another fantastic Annual Meeting!
