Stay in the Loop

Pop-Up Restaurant Gets Rave Review From Star Tribune

As they get ready for their opening next summer on Washington Avenue, Guacaya Bistreaux is teaming up with another North Loop establishment, Glass House, to host three preview events in November.

Guacaya Bistreaux will feature authentic Latin Caribbean tapas and libations with hints of gris gris creole and Cajun influences as part of the unique cuisine from chef Pedro Wolcott.

On three consecutive Mondays (November 8, 15 and 22), guests can sample the tapas and craft cocktails at the preview events at Glass House.

A Star Tribune food writer got a preview of the menu and wrote a glowing review.

Guacaya Bistreaux will open in 2022 in an open space at Dock Street Flats next to the Washington Avenue bridge.

And Glass House will do similar Chef-In-Residence events as part of a continuing series in the future.
