Form+Content Gallery is pleased to present the Second Biennial Open Loop, an open call group exhibition juried by Kylie Linh Hoang, and featuring compelling work from 32 Minnesota based artists. The gallery views this year’s exhibition as a reaffirmation that the act of making art speaks to hope and to life itself even in uncertain times.
“Open Loop 2026 emphasizes themes which emerged from the submissions that evolved around memory, identity, and migration. The exhibition will examine current events, personal histories, and our collective investment in fighting for the future we want to see.” — Kylie Linh Hoang
We are truly impressed by the scope and quality of the submissions received from across Minnesota and thank the nearly 160 artists who submitted their work for Open Loop 2026. It is clear that there is an incredible depth of creativity and dedication, and we are grateful for this collective community of artists.

Kylie has worked as an assistant curator at the Minnesota Museum of American Art, researching the complexity of American identity and experience through objects in the permanent collection. She has also previously held positions at the Minnesota Historical Society, the Oakland Museum of California, and the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry.
