Bellecour’s Fancy New Bakery, Café And Bistro Opening This Week
What should we expect with the highly-anticipated opening of Bellecour North Loop this week? Well, it depends on when you visit.

Starting at 7am each day, it’s an upscale French bakery and cafe offering everything from croissants and coffee to quiche. At 10:30 in the morning, a few more items like French onion soup and smoked salmon tartine are added to the menu–along with a few wine and beer selections.

It closes at 2pm and then reopens for dinner and drinks at 5pm as a full-menu French-style bistro.

“This is the food I’ve loved cooking and eating for decades,” said chef Gavin Kaysen. “It’s our first restaurant that will completely transform into a different experience from day to night. This restaurant represents so many chapters of my career. From the flavors, to the energy, and the sense of gathering we’re creating, I’m bringing what inspires me under one roof in a way that’s deeply personal. I can’t wait to share it with you.”

It’s the third North Loop restaurant for Chef Kaysen, joining the acclaimed Spoon and Stable as well as Demi.
The bakery and café portion of Bellecour opened this week and service in the bistro will begin Saturday, December 6th.
