North Loop residents, property owners, business owners and business representatives are eligible to serve on the NLNA Board of Directors. Board members are elected to two-year terms at our Annual Meeting, which takes place on January 27, 2027. As the NLNA board is comprised entirely of volunteers, board members are expected to make a significant time commitment (20-25 hours monthly), to be actively engaged in their committee assignments and to be an active participant at neighborhood events.

Monthly board meetings are held at 6pm on the last Wednesday of the month at the Itasca Event Gallery (706 N 1st Street). No more than two missed meetings annually are permitted. Parks+Public Art, Business Engagement, and Planning+Zoning Committee meetings are also held monthly.

Nominations are accepted up to and including during the Annual Meeting, but to be included in the board-candidate video that is added to our website and shown at the Annual Meeting, please submit your letter of interest by January 13.  We will contact you when we receive your letter.
