Thank you for your interest in supporting your neighborhood! North Loop residents, property owners, business owners and business representatives are eligible to serve on the NLNA Board of Directors. Board members are elected each year at our annual meeting. The 2021 meeting will be held via Zoom at 7pm January 27th.
As the NLNA board is comprised entirely of volunteers, each board member is expected to actively participate in association committees, events and other volunteer and community activities. Generally, a 10-15-hour monthly commitment is expected. No financial contribution is required. Terms are two years.
Board members are expected to attend monthly board meetings, held on the last Wednesday of the month. No more than two missed meetings annually are permitted.

We will also ask you to record a video (60 seconds maximum) to introduce yourself and express why you’d like to serve on the board. These short videos will replace the live speeches that candidates usually give at the annual meeting.
