Stay in the Loop

Calabrio Shows Off Its North Loop Views

Fast-growing software firm Calabrio now occupies the top three floors of the North Loop’s newest office tower on 5th Avenue North, with more space on a fourth floor to expand.

The company moved its headquarters from the central part of downtown Minneapolis to the North Loop in October, in part to appeal to young tech workers who’d want to be part of this vibrant neighborhood.

The building, developed by Swervo, is designed to to blend in with the historic warehouses of the district, with brick lining the interior as well as exterior walls. With floor to ceiling windows, employees enjoy spectacular views of the downtown skyline, Target Field and the North Loop neighborhood.

Their cafeteria on the 12th floor has garage doors that can be opened to create an open air space on warmer days. There’s also a full rooftop deck that can be used for events.

More than 300 people currently work in the North Loop offices, with room for another 500 more in the future.
