Edwards Dessert Kitchen Will Reopen, Eventually
For just three days leading up to Thanksgiving, Edwards Dessert Kitchen will welcome guests back to pick up a special holiday-themed treat: spiced pumpkin cheesecakes. (UPDATE: They’re sold out.)
But in announcing this on Instagram, they also included news that fans have been waiting for: they will reopen their dining room in Spring 2022.
And their website features a catering menu that’s currently available for meetings and special events.
“While our catering business remains open we are excited to be working towards an April 1, 2022 reopening,” said spokesperson Heather Malakowsky. “A very important step in this process is to hire a new general manager to help lead the daily operations of EDK.”
She said the company would love to hire someone from the North Loop or surrounding downtown area if possible.
Edwards, known for its decadent desserts and cozy bar, closed amid the pandemic and wasn’t able to reopen this past summer, but their return in a few months will be very welcome news.
