Emerging Artists Enjoy Exposure At TractorWorks

Every day, workers heading to their offices at the TractorWorks building on Washington Avenue get to walk through a bright, colorful art gallery featuring dozens of works in the first floor corridors.

It’s a gallery that’s not well-known yet, but it’s free and open for the public to browse.

Gallery One is part of the dramatic transformation of the TractorWorks building over the past decade. What was once a factory and distribution center for Deere Webber tractors, plows and other farm machinery, is now an upscale office building with artistic flair.

Ron Ridgeway, founder of the Art Leadership Program, curates the collection which brings in new works from different artists each quarter.

The current collection of abstract art will be on display through the end of the year before being replaced by a different collection in January.
