Stay in the Loop

Is Your Face Breaking Out From The Stress? Zoey Can Help

Unfazed by the challenges of opening a business during a pandemic, esthetician Zoey Gotlieb has moved her skin treatment center, Z-Spot into the North Loop, on the third floor of the International Design Building. For about 3 1/2 years, she was at The Firm fitness center in Minneapolis.

“A lot of people would say that this is a ‘very Zoey way’ to move my business,” she said with a laugh, “like I would not move it any other year but in a pandemic.”

Specializing in acne correction, she also focuses on aging skin, offering peels, facials, brow treatments and other services.

As someone who faced skin inflammation issues from a young age, she said she worked to educate herself on the correlation between how she was nourishing her body and how her skin reacted. Along with offering skin treatments, she also helps clients focus on the bigger picture and how their personal habits affect their skin.

“Your skin is really such a representation of good and poor health,” she said, “and it’s what you wear every day.”

The stress that many people feel these days could be affecting their skin, she said, by breaking down collagen and elastin. “I have faith that on the other side of this situation we’re in right now, there’s going to be so many beautiful things,” she said, “and if I can help people get through this hard time, that’s what I want to do.”

Z-Spot is located at 211 North 1st Street, Suite 330.
