Stay in the Loop

Fast-Casual Salad Chain Coming To Colonial Warehouse

It’s been nearly two years since the North Loop dealt with the sad news that Moose & Sadie’s was closing in the early stages of the pandemic.

Now, we know who’s moving into their old space. It’s Sweetgreen, a fresh food fast-casual chain that’s wildly popular in other parts of the country and finally arriving in Minnesota.

Its menu features “fresh, plant-forward earthy friendly” food, including salads, bowls and plates like Hot Honey Chicken and Chimichurri Protein Plate.

The Development Tracker reports that Sweetgreen will have seating for 27 indoors and more seating outside. Remember how great those tables and umbrellas were, overlooking 3rd Avenue?

It is slated to open later this year.
