Holidays Come Early To Stilheart Distillery
If you like your holiday season with an extra helping of kitsch, you’ll want to step into Stilheart Distillery and Cocktail Lounge, where the festive season has exploded onto the walls, the ceilings and the drink menu.
From now until December 30th, you can sip on drinks like Muletide, On Dasher, Christmapolitan and Gin and Tonica. There are Santa mugs and glassware (sold separately) with some of the cocktails available in kits to go.
Stilheart is one one of 80 locations around the world that’s bringing in the Miracle team from New York to provide the pop-up decorations, drink themes and other special features to make the season bright.
“It’s really fun, it’s really popular,” said Stilheart owner Kirsten Karnitz. “The company that puts it on is extremely professional and they pay attention to every detail.”
She said some of the oversized poinsettia and Christmas tree decorations now hanging near her entrance used to be on the light poles of a small town in Wisconsin.
Her husband’s distillery in south Minneapolis, Lawless, is now in its 5th year of featuring the Miracle pop-up.
Stilheart is currently open three days a week, Thursday-Saturday, but after Thanksgiving they’ll go to five days, Wednesday through Sunday.
