Vote On The Next Big North Loop Artworks
When the new apartment/retail building known as INTERSECT opens this fall behind lululemon, one of its features will be a brand new access ramp to and from the Cedar Lake Trail along the railroad tracks.
The developer put out a call for artists to design 2 big projects: a mural for the lower wall facing the trail, and a “green living wall” next to the bike ramp for plants to grow on.
And now the public is invited to vote on the three finalists for each project.
Voting will be open for two weeks starting February 17, 2023. Each voter is permitted one vote for the Green Wall and one vote for the Bike Ramp Retaining Wall. When the two-week public voting period concludes the INTERSECT will tally the votes and announce the winners directly by the beginning of March 2023.
