Stay in the Loop

lululemon Bringing Outdoor Movement, Connections To North Loop

One Thursday a month from June to September this year, lululemon will bring music and exercise plus a chance to make personal connections at the Nordic Plaza in the North Loop.

It’s part of their Summer Series, The Movement. And it will involve several North Loop businesses and instructors leading dance from Sam Marshall of Hothouse Studio, HIIT, flow and running sessions from JUST, yoga from North Loop resident Ericka Jones (on August 25th) as well as a chance to learn floral design from Sip ‘N Bloom.

All event guests can stop by THR3 JACK for a buy one, get one free Bootleg. This signature cocktail is the perfect summer drink – think fresh mint, lemon, lime, and fizzy soda water that mixes perfectly with gin or vodka. Pro tip: it also makes a great mocktail.

And FRGMNT Coffee will be debuting their new mobile cold brew trike out on the Nordic Plaza for guests to fuel up.

“I think it’s a really fun opportunity for people to get out, move their bodies, feel better and not be in their homes,” said Liz Krueger, curator for lululemon and North Loop resident. “And then get to experience these businesses that haven’t been open at full capacity, bring attention to all that’s so great about our neighborhood.”

Their first event will be Thursday, June 16th, 5:30-7:00pm, with future events on  July 14th, August 25th and September 22nd.

Tickets range from $10-35 plus fees, depending on the activity you choose. You can sign up here.

“Through lululemon we always say ‘move, connect and grow,’ Krueger said. “And that will be brought to life through these experiences.”
