North Loop Annual Meeting: New Board Members Elected
After a year of smashing attendance records at North Loop Neighborhood Association events, we held our Annual Meeting/Happy Hour at The Fillmore for the first time, and again set a new high for attendance.
Nearly 500 people turned out for light appetizers, drinks and lots of information about North Loop happenings.
Mayor Jacob Frey took the stage and spoke during happy hour, while the crowd watched video addresses during the meeting from Police Chief Brian O’Hara (who let everyone know he’s a proud North Loop resident) and City Council Member Michael Rainville, who had a big announcement about Washington Avenue safety improvements.

Meanwhile, those in attendance also cast their votes for the six available seats on our Board of Directors. There were 13 candidates on the ballot.
They re-elected all three incumbents (top row): David Crary, Margee Lancaster and Pat Dawson, while electing three new members: Cristy Blake, Blake Peterson and Shayla Frechette to serve on our hard-working volunteer board.
Many thanks to all who contributed to a very successful annual meeting.
