Stay in the Loop

North Loop Building Is Getting Taller

There’s been excitement for awhile now about the urban winery, AxeBridge, being built in the lower levels of the old Internet Exchange building at 411 North Washington Avenue in the North Loop.

But over the past few weeks, as a crane has been lifting steel beams to the roof of that building, people have been asking about the upper levels too.

The new rooftop structure is being built for Minneapolis marketing and advertising agency Broadhead which will be moving into those upper floors later this year, and they’ll have a new rooftop patio as well, with skyline views.

AxeBridge Winery will have a ground level patio for guests in the rear of the building when it opens in the late spring.

Edina Realty will also be moving into the building later this year, along with a yet-to-be-announced fitness studio.
