North Loop Food Hall’s Opening Delayed
One thing the operators of the new Graze Provisions + Libations food hall didn’t count on when they set a grand opening date of August 15th: the muddy construction mess still lingering on 5th Avenue North.
Graze decided to push back its grand opening to September 6th. But it will hold a neighborhood celebration for the North Loop community on September 5th. Details below.
“Due to unforeseen street construction delays throughout the North Loop, Graze is pushing back Grand Opening weekend to September 6th-8th. Graze wants to ensure the community is able to have the best possible experience and that includes being able to easily navigate directions and parking,” a spokesperson said.
When it does open, Graze will feature baked goods from Honey and Rye Bakehouse, Spanish empanadas from MidNord, urban soul food from Soul Bowl, creative tacos from Flagsmash, coal-fired pit beef sandwiches from Carbon, sushi and ramen from both Fish Bowl Poke and Ramen Kazama along with banh mi burgers and bowls from Lu’s Sandwich.
And for the “libations,” they’ll have a seasonally-inspired cocktail and beer menu, including 12 beers on tap and 20+ options by can or bottle. Visitors can also enjoy two full bars, a large outdoor space with a walk-up bar, fire pits, and an entertainment space, as well as a large second-floor outdoor space which offers views of the central business district square and Target Field.

In the August 9th update to its website, the city’s Public Works department said that all underground utility work and soil corrections have been completed on 5th Avenue and the focus this week would be on placing gravel down and preparing the street for paving.
